Greg Olsen began his career in high school. After playing for school and University he got drafted to the Chicago Bears NFL team in 2007. He was drafted to Chicago Bears for the next five years after making his debut on September 23, 2007.

On July 28, 2011, Greg was drafted into the Carolina Panthers football team. He played his debut match for Carolina Panthers in 2012. In 2015 he extended his agreement with Carolina Panthers for the next three years under a deal of $22.5 million.

In 2016, his great gameplay as a Carolina Panthers player his name was added to the list of the top 100 BF Players of 2016 where he stood in the 35th position.
